Aeons sucks

Post by Max Pain »

in TLC why is the sword of aeons so weak.. i say that because in the original it was the most powerful weapon in the game but it only does around about 200 damage on TLC why is that?

Perhaps because it was to powerfull and needed to be balanced down a little to not make the rest of the game to easy?

No need for the sword of Aeons

I believe you are correct in saying that the sword of Aeons is weak, after all if you get a master great sword and bind three sharpening augment to it, it will become one of the most powerful weapons in the game.

On 'Classic' Fable all you had to do after completing the game was run around stabbing stuff. On TLC there are more quests to do...

Then Avo's tear would have to be made more powerful too...

In Classic Fable the Sword of Aeons did 550 damage (or something like that). Which is extremely high compared to all other weapons, it was then toned down so it is no longer one of the most powerful swords.
In memorian: Fiona; Ravager; Lestat; Phreddie; and all of those from the 1500 incident. Lest we forget.

Personally my favorite swords are The Bereaver, and the Sword of Aeons (this is for evil characters >=D ). I like that they toned down the damage for Aeons, but honestly, does anyone care? The game is so easy I'm pretty sure I could beat the game using the stick or fists... would actually make the game challenging.

Personally, I think they buggeres it. If they were going to tone down the sword that's suppoed to be the most powerful in the whole of Albion, they shoulda toned down Solus as well.
If they want to please the people who like challenging games, they're ripping off people who like makin uber-powerful characters (like me). Just my opinion though.
