Best weapon for a mage:The Frying Pan

The frying is by far one of the best weapons for a mage simply because of its 4 augment slots, so you can easily buy 4 mana augments attatch them and then be will potion free for the whole game. Or if you are a weak player the same could be done with health augments.

Is there really four mana Augmentations in the game? I think there are like only three in the game? (including the one you have to get the 15 silver keys for)

In TLC you can you purchase unlimited augumentations in SnowSpire. However in the normal game there is a limited amount, and I believe it is 3:

Hook Coast
Chest
Quest - Can't remember which one though... possibly TwinBlade

Actually the frying pan can hold 5 augmentations, its ace. It only says four but just add all 4 mana augmentations AT THE SAME TIME (That is dont click back to anything other than the weapon) and after you've added the fourth you can add one more augmentation. Combined with a 3 augmentation masters bow its super perfect for mana users.

I have a question. How exactly do you get those markings like maze has? Is it how much you level in magic, or how many times you use magic?

It's how often you use magic.

You will not get them if you are a full warrior, instead, you must be a primary will user.
