My parents are trying to plan a trip with some friends from Florida, were not defintiley sure what were doing, all i know is Ireland... btw what is the legal drinking age over their?

So far as I know it's 18. But you can have a great time in Ireland without drinking and certainly in the rural parts they don't mind underage people being in the pubs. I'm sure you'll love it. I do

I had a feeling it might be connected to Giant's Causeway. Didn't know the myth behind it though. Seems to think Scottish giants are better than Irish ones.

Legal drinking age is 16 in Belgium. Though you are allowed to enter a bar if you're younger, but the barman can be sued if he serves to underage drinkers, but it is not very strongly enforced. And I think other continental European countries are similarly relaxed.
But then there's not really a tradition of binge drinking, and people usually don't go for the strong stuff.
