How to defeat Feldorn

I think thats her name, Im not sure because I have'nt lasted that long in the druid's cove. Anyway how do you defeat Feldorn,she is the head druid in the Druid's cove and she's bloody tough to beat. I have Cernd with the party. Any kind of assistance would be much appreciated.

Very easy: Cast Insect Plague on her. Then either Summon Woodland Being or Summon Fire Elemental. Finally transform into (Greater) Werewolf and kill her.

I used Jaheira to kill Feldorn. I casted barkskin on myself, then transformed into a Bear. From there, I preceded to maul her until she fell down, quite dead.

Near 100% success: Shapeshift Cernd and charge. That is all.

You could always CHEESE and stand one character next to the fighting pit, then pause the game, get Cernd's equipment, and pass it from character to character until you can pass it down to him. Faldorn and the other druids don't seem to mind that Cernd suddenly has all his equipment back...

This is even more fun with Jaheira. "Where did that full plate, acid club, and fortress shield come from?" If you are playing through for the first time, don't try this (as it is cheating) but in later games, it is fun to imagine the look on Faldorn's face as you charge in, fully armed and armored.

Without using cheats:
Have Cernd drink oil of speed, then start the fight. A hasted werewolf will make very short work of the shadow druid, even at level 9.

Question:
Did you go for the Pit with Faldorn, or you try to defeat her cross the river? Out of the Pit faldorn is much more tough, nearly invincible; because of the earth bond enchant.
[In fact her hp cannot be lowered to 0; you have to drain her brain with mindflayer form, or things like that].

I fought Faldorn with Cernd in the pit, and she killed him, then I had Viconia bring him back from his dirt nap and he was stuck in the pit. Then I had my Avenger challenge her in the pit and me and Cernd were in the pit together and wiped out Faldorn rather quickly.

I did this quest much earlier in the game than the above posters, and took me a couple tries. The trick is to get Cernd to get some protective spells cast on him, I think they last long enough, and then get a couple of spells off in the pit before the shadow druid really starts whupping on you. I cast call nymph, and call wild dog, and then changed into werewolf, didn't have greater werewolf ability yet, and got her good.

no cheese, no cheats.
