Why can't Cernd challenge for leadership of Druid Grove?

Post by VoodooDali »

Okay, I'm replaying BG2 with Cernd in my party. He's finally level 14, I took him to the druid grove, but there is no option when you speak to the guy there to let him challenge for leadership of the grove. Am I missing something? My main guy is a guildmaster--are you not allowed to have two strongholds or something?

You will only be able to challenge for the leadership of the grove f you, the main character, is a level 14+ druid. NPC druids like Jaheira or Cernd will not be able to do this.

Challenging for leadership of the grove is part of the druid quest, in the same manner as a bard would gain ownership of the theatre, and a thief a guild. Druids gain ownership of the grove.
