Help!

Post by Pr3lude »

I'm not sure if its me, or not, but when I play Fable, I can't seem to get through a part on the map without losing like 80% of my health.

I will go against 4-5 guys, and walk out almost dead. I'm not sure what difficulty I'm on, but did I do something wrong? How do you make yourself take less damage? Or alot more damage to enemys?

I'm new to Fable so give me a break :)

EDIT: And for the Temple of Skorn quest, all the people I've sacrafised, they tell me something about them not being good enough, so who did you guys get to sacrafice?

Are you spending your experience at the Heroes' Guild? Random enemies shouldn't be hurting you all that much.

I will do 1-2 quests, and it says I don't have enough. :(

I did get to level up something, but only 1 thing, and that was after 3-4 quests.

I even went to the arena, didn't get far, I got past the Balverines. Still no exp points to spend.

Oh, I think I know what is happening here.

When you kill monsters, they drop small green orbs, called experience orbs. By using these, you will gain experience, if you don't collect them, you won't. I think shift allows you to 'suck' all the nearby orbs.

You have to collect them if you want to level.

I'm on Xbox, but I collect the little orbs.

Each enemy drops about 4-5.

I collect them, but it doesn't seem to do anything, is thier something I can look at to see when I can level up? Or what my experince level is?

Forget your training?

Ok Pr3lude you can level up at the guild, in the green light next to the cullis gate. There you can buy toughness so that you wont lose to much damage if you are hit. Or you can buy the physical shield so that you wont get hit at all. When you kill an enemy he should drop the experience, keep in mind that higher levels of the skill you wish to learn will cost more experience.
You can have my Xbox, when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers.

Look on the left side of the screen, about halfway up,a nd it should display the experience you have gained if you recently used some experience orbs.

Alright thanks, and if someone reading this just started the game, don't read any further.

I have a question, what do you fight in the arena?
Round 1: Wasps
Round 2: Hoobes
Round 3: Balverines
?

Okay, I didn't find those before ;)

So update. I have no more quests, I need to fight in the arena, but when I try, I get ripped apart. So do I just run around killin stuff to get more exp points to level up?

What I did to fight off the things in the arena was cast slow time (lv1) and devine fury (level4) It tore up everyone one there except for some of the creatures which after that needed only one hit to kill. But a spell thats needed i would say has to be physical barrier and slow time makes it alot easier.

Okay, so I just got past the arena *whew*

Rock Trolls... how do you kill em?! I just kept using the Slowtime thing, and crackem with my axe.

BTW, I'm on Xbox, so I don't think I have DevineFury.

That last round was easy, so was Whisper, it was the Bandits, and Rock Trolls I had trouble with
