***SPOILER*** Kicked Out of Imperial Legion -- AGAIN!

Post by Dyre Straits »

OK, I'm not exactly sure at what point this happened. I've been going merrily along and taking care of all the quests in BLOODMOON and have even saved the Captain's life.

BUT, after starting with the settlement at Raven Rock, I returned to the Fort only to be informed that I've been EXPELLED again.

Does this expulsion have some connection to the decision one makes at the 'CROSSROADS'? That's the only thing that comes to mind that I can imagine.

Maybe I should have talked to Carnius prior to making my decision, huh?

Oh, NO!! I remember what it was now!

I got caught sleeping in someone else's bed. I thought that, since I was a Knight Errant that I could sleep in the General Quarters at the Fort. Guess I was wrong about that.

I had to pay 5 gold and then go and retrieve my stuff from the Evidence Chest.

So, now what? I've already had my 'one chance'.

 :(

That's pretty much what I figured. I'm glad I save often enough that I don't have to go back so very far to 'correct' a situation like this.

Quick Question:

Just how important is the relationship to the Imperial Guard at this point for me? I found that my 'error' occured before I had to beat the pulp out of that guy at the mine entrance.

If I've completed all the other main quests and only have the Raven Rock quest to complete, is the Imperial Guard situation going to hinder my progress there?

I've already taken care of the Skaal and Thirsk quests and the Bloodmoon quest. Seems the only thing left for me to do is pursue the Raven Rock settlement.

Not completely sure, however i do believe there's no relation with any other faction. Ravens Rock is for East Empire Company alone, about your becoming the Factor and (as an option) building the residence here.

Thanks! I'm hoping you're right.

I decided to simply pursue things as they are and hope for the best as I really didn't want to have to go through that entire 'hand to hand' level up from 13 to 40 by roughing up that guy outside the mine entrance.

So far, things are shaping up. It's interesting to see the colony developing 'right before your eyes' as it were. :)

yea, dont worry about it, raven rock has NO effect on any other factions, including imperial factions. UNLESS-unless... you do something illegal.

It was interesting to find the Captain over at the shipwreck with Carnius when I had to hustle to get that report to him on time. ;) (Which I accomplished very well, by the way. :) )

EDIT:

Well, I made Factor of Raven Rock just a few moments ago. Seems there will be a need of attention once the construction is completed.

Beyond that, there just the proof of elves that I need to get for that researcher in the Bar.

Oh, yeah! I almost forgot. When Falco told me to take that note off the phony Nords and confront Carnius with it, I was beside myself with excitement. I even said out loud: "I'll be very happy to!" :)
