Wow. 800-1000 pages eh? That might take a while to get through. Especially considering it's taken at least a month to read through a 750 page book just on the trains.
Ah, well, half-spam is better than no-spam aye?
I'll do my best to keep up.
Well, in short, there is nation that starts conquer rest of the world.
Also, there are gods that can take control over mortal beings, as there are demons and such which can be summoned to aid waring nations.
And there is one special god, so called Fallen god, which were dragged from this hold during great wars in long time ago. The Fallen god is chained in small warren, wounded, dying. (BTW, warrens are used to cast magic, and the type of magic is determined by what warren the caster uses. Some casters can use many warrens, which is very rare since the more warrens you can use, the more deadly it becomes. Most of casters can use only on warren.) But the god can take control of mortals, and in that way it tries to escape and return it's place among other gods, even remove every other god. But there is more. THe warren where fallen god is chained is corrupting other warrens, and if the god dies, other warrens will die also. But if the god escapes, then it will destroy the warrens.
There are much more, but that's it in the nutshell.

Well, there was some comment that the page was new on there.
Yeah, the mornings are always quiet though, it can be a pain sometimes. I just find webcomics to read and such generally.
Oh, I got the Stargate Atlantis Season 1 boxset yesterday, though it's been taken off me until Chistmas.
Should be good once the whole different DVD region thing is sorted out.
Yeah, the American version was available through Amazon. I don't think the European version has been released yet. I think it was £30, and considering the SG-1 DVD's I buy individually when they come out are around £17 each, that's a pretty good deal.
Plus, that would have been double the cost at least I bet.

So, are you going to watch it with computer or DVD-player? If via player, then you may have a problem there...

Oh, on a computer. I don't have a TV DVD player. Though I think multi-region DVD players exist.
Anyway, I'm going to try a few things to get it working later on.

I think there is option to change you DVD-drive's region to something else. But you can do this only finite number of times, so that ain't so good option.

There's also software and firmware flashing (though the firmware option can be dangerous if you're careless enough to use the wrong software with the wrong drive).
I think that God in creating man somewhat overestimated his ability.
