Wicked melee combo

Post by Decimate »

I am running a dwarf adept/paladin/fighter/samurai/? I have yet to choose 3rd class and i am currently 20th level and just starting on the argylia quest in ulm.

Damage is sick between wearing heavy armor and dual wielding-I just had too much fun in elder trials and moonbeasts killing off hordes..I think at one point in trials the stacks of swords were taller than my guy..lol and dragons are piece of cake with ward on.

My question is, has anyone tried dual wield builds vs ninjitsu builds to see which does more damage?

I was looking at trying ninjitsu/mage build but thought the loss of healing from adept line might be bad?

and if I go ninjitsu, that means I never use any of the cool weapons in game?

Can you make it to end game without healing side and just stock up on potions and healing crystals without channel?

Thanks

Dual weild is the best for most amounts of damage... and you have a longer reach... but Nunjitsu is almost as awesome... and better... if you don't have significant weapons at your disposal (i.e. bladerelics, Kama of the void, some of the one-handed great swords of diamond, flame, emerald greatsword or magic no-dachis)

so... I really like the ninjitsu combos (at 8 to 10th level...) it is really just a style preference - I have defeated several dragons and nearly all the bosses as a ninja lord - my favorite is to be a ninja lord and weild the emerald greatsword and the Kama of the void - and revert back to ninjutsu for half of the melee battles and weild the dual-weapons for the other half...

Snakes

You dual wield and use ninjitsu? isnt that sort of a waste?

i was going to go Adept/Monk/Mage/Battlemage so I could use heavy armor and shield and get ninjistu with benefit of channel and scribe. Probably will go warlock for drain life.

I guess you went the maurader/ninja lord way or maybe samaurai/ninja lord.

Just curious why?

actually I went fighter-marauder-deathlord for the dual weild... and the heavy armor.. and adept-monk for the ninjutsu... I am really just a melee character at heart... but as a monk, I got access to some wild celestial spells and I learned to appreciate the magic in this game... so now I am a rogue-budoka for the ninjutsu and a battlemage-warlock for the heavy armor and the spells - I have little knowledge of the rune-stones... so that is another area I might look into... say a paladin/wizard or something...

and I just alternated between dual weild and ninjutsu - both are awesome - ninjutsu in the crowds of wolves type fight... dual weild with the emeral greatsword and the kama of the void for the quick kills... (witches...dragons, etc)

Well I think I found my wicked combo to finally work on going past argylia section of game.

adept/valkyrie/fighter/samurai/warwitch.

Between the wild damage dual wield does and offensive magic its just sick. I just make up the loss of having no channel or scribe with loads of cash from the the Witch ATM in dead marshes, and buy stacks of potions, crystals and spells.

Plus female elf in spandex plate armor is much better to look at than a guys Butt all through game
