Fell Wood - path to the Pond?

Hi everyone.

I just completed the Missing Children quest of Chapter Three. I am now in front of Carynara, the Spryte/Fey, and she told me how to go further east in the forest. "From the pond, go East, NorthEast, NorthWest to find a small creek, then North West, North East and South East."

All right. Problem is... and I don't find any pond. How do I get there? Thanks for your help!

I'm sorry I can't remember the route but I do know that I got help from the walkthrough with this if all else fails

This is a frustrating area. Use a pen and paper, and hope that you have someone with decent Wilderness Lore in your party.

If you get yourself too lost, just leave the wood (any path directly to the west, I believe) then go back in, find your guide again and repeat her directions until successful.

Thanks for your help guys.

I could find my way through the Fell Wood after many, many scriblings on pieces of paper. This wasn't easy and was, indeed, very frustrating. The following maps of the Cold Marshes, the Dragons and Duergar are a piece of cake compared to this.
