for fable tlc when you go into the chapel of skorm go to the right bar and there will be a little stream there should be a ripple. fish there and when you fish it out tou get like a 528.28g fish its awsome then u can go to that fishing contest and win it all good luck guys thx

The lost bay's quite good IIRC. Plus you can get an ice troll sometimes - so thats a diamond in the bag too. There's a culis gate, so its a bit more accessible.

Those Ice Trolls are really hard. but you are right, a diamond in the bag. but their not that expensive compared to some of the stuff you get.

Yeah, the weight can vary by large amounts, and certain areas yield greater fish than others.

As a matter of fact, up north, on the way to Snowspire (I think) I caught a fish of about 10605 grammes. Ill get ye a screenshot one o these days.

This may be a "noob" question, but where do you fnd the fishing contest? I did the fishing lessons quest and cant find him.

The guy who gives the lesson at Fisher Creek is also the guy for the contest. But you have to leave the area and come back to get the contest to start up.

I personally have caught a fish weighing in at 45,000 grams and was almost three meters long. The more you fish, the bigger fish you'll get. It also helps to wear the fishing cap and use the champion's rod you get from the fishing competition. There is a thread on the Xbox.com Fable TLC forum where a guy caught something like 1,000 fish, and they started getting up in the 50 MILLION gram range. That's something like 55 tons, by the way, for us USians.

There is a conflict with an optional quest where you rescue the villagers... Do the fishing before the other quest or do the other quest before you do the fishing...
