Chased by torch-equipped vampires in the cities? Huh?

Hi!

I've completed this game yesterday with my Brujah character, and today I decided that I would play it again, but with the malkavian. While running around in the cities, torch-equipped vampires hides in the shadows/alleys and charges at me. Who are they, and why?

This did not happen in the entire game with my brujah character.

Agh, weird thing! You got to be kiddin'... anyway when does that happen (You mean all the time) ? When did that started? (you just got out of your haven for the first time and that happened?) Give more info and we might help ya...

the only situation that might seem this one is when Lacroix call a Blood Hunt on you.. even thought, there's no torch-equipped vampire chargin' at you...

You sure she isnt a hunter... they apear when you expose your vampyric gift to much

They're vampire hunters that come after you once you've accumulated a few masquerade violations.

they appear once you have two or more violations (unless of course you get masquerade redemptions in which case they stop appearing again when you have one or less violations)

Hi.

I thought it was about my two masquerade violations, but when I'd gained them back, these vampires still appeared and attacked me.

I haven't got a single masquerade violation now, hopefully they won't come anymore. I'll report here if they're still chasing me.

Brrr, I must say that it's scary to be ambushed by them since I've always felt safe in the cities. Gah! Goddamn vampires..

they actually always appear in the same places so you can usually work out where they will ambush you and either avoid it or sneak up on them and stealth kill/feed (especially if you have obfuscate)

And there is nothing wrong with their blood, they're just another way to refill your bloodpool
