Protection from Fire/Cold vs Resist Fire/Cold
Does the Protection from Fire/Cold stack with Resist Fire/Cold to achieve 100% immunity from the elements? That is, if I cast one then the other, do the effects aggregate or override the last spell cast? Just wondering cuz none of these spells by themselves offer 100% immunity.

Maybe
I have had my cleric cast multiple magic resistence spells on the same character and when I checked their info and scrolled down (resistences are at the very bottom) they had 100+% resistence to magic which is great for facing the beholders in TotL. Realize the question was about fire/cold/etc. but figure if it applies to one type of resistence maybe it will the other as well.
I also am pretty sure they stack with equipment, rings, and such. I "seem" to remember having a couple of characters having 100% immunity to certain elements on occasion due to spells and equipment.

They stack.
Stacking these two spells to achieve 100+% fire resistance is one of the joys of tanking. Be warned that Resist Fire/Cold lasts for only a short time. I don't use the combo it unless I am planning a full-out fire bombardment (Sunfire, Flame Strike, and maybe Incendiary Cloud in addition to the ubiquitous Fireball), or unless I'm fighting cold-users and want a little extra protection.
I have Protection from Fire active at all times on my main tank(s).

They stack?? Cool! (Pun intended.)
Hey, but what do you use to maintain Protection from Fire at all times on ur tanks? Does PFF last that long???

Thought They Might
I like to have a character wear the vexing armor. Buff their fire resistence to 100% and then cast invisiblility on them. Stroll into a pack of cold users and detonate the armor's fire storm on top of themself. Great fun  The armor protects them from the radiating cold. The buffs/other items from the fire.

PFF last for 1 turn per level of caster, RF/RC lasts for 1 round per level of caster.
PFF does indeed last long enough, and it's a great combo with Protection from Evil 10' radius - same duration.
Because I'm a confessed multiclasser, I generally have at least two characters capable of casting PFF.
