*shrugs* I'm using a slow computer set to 800x600 resolution. I don't have much choice but to use the default.

Anyway, if I just posted one link to a post that doesn't really give anyone the scope of the thing in general.

I could post the link to that specific post rather than the number if anyone wants it. I don't mind.

Ravager, I just spent about half an hour looking for what you were trying to link to. I think I found it but in future, if you wouldn't mind, could you link to one post and tell us how many around it are important. Sorry if that sounds demanding but that was quite a struggle

Ok, since I'm slightly confused, I'll post this here instead of the other thread since I don;t wanna derail into a totally different discussion.

Where exactly in that exchange were the older members? I thought the discussion was about the old guard and the new guard. This discussion about the golden age of spam has been around for longer than any members involved in that confrontation have been around.

Looked like an arguement that was on the whole kinda stupid to me. All about "You don't post the way I post and I don't like it" kinda thing.

My advice would be, say screw it and post what you want so long as you don't break any rules.

I was thinking people were offended at us old fogey's for being elitest because we've been around for years. Nice to know that even the youngin's are arguing amongst themselves over what's proper and what isn't. At least when Aegis or someone like him talks about a golden age for SYM, he's actually been here long enough to remember past a year or so.

I'll try to sort that out for next time.

@BS, it was still deliberate separation between the old and new. Just not perhaps who you see as 'old' on here. To be clear, I'm not extending this to all early members of GB. It's just a few people that IMO spoil it for other people sometimes.

Thanks for trying to make me feel better, but it;s too late now. I realized I'm a relic. Theres no going back now. All that's left is to wait patiently for Death to claim me. I wonder if theres an movie during the trip to the other side
