its what you would call a handkerchief i guess except made of paper and dsiposable,a paper towel, only softer. although nice restaurants have nice cloth napkins. if you didnt guess polite people keep thme in their laps while eating, dont know where kin comes from, i hope its not that they used to wipe their faces with their relatives and then put them in hteir laps...:speech:
