@Lestat, I'm token, eh? Nice.
That was linked to 'revision' in some study skills day we received in Sixth Form.
At least I got a sweet for recognising it was a dot on the horizon...rather than a trick question.
It looks like a dot and as it approaches it gets bigger...shocking eh?Fiona wrote:@Rav. Don't know. What does an elephant look like......?

like:
Chillax - chill ,relax
What the Flip- What the <insert profanity> (you know what I mean right?)
Filirious- <insert profanity> hilirious
Tuck and roll- lets get going , hurry up

*nods* This was only a few years ago. They honestly expected us not to know this stuff?
Some person with a whiteboard chatting away. We were given folders etc.
Many people just gave up and went home, the school decided to take a register halfway through the morning, the irony being that they gave it to me to check who was there...and I didn't even stay for the afternoon, I left at the beginning of the lunch break.
There, another insight into the life and times of Ravvy.
Goodnight Lestat. See you later.

Well school is supposed to prepare you for the world of work. And there are a lot of those patronising <insert profanity>s making good money out of this sort of stuff right across the public service now. It's because they want to make better use of your tax money that they pay these "consultants" :laugh:

Well, I'm really not looking forward to Skills Week (16th Jan), not because it's difficult but it does mean full days of University (rush hour commuting both ways
) and lots of it is bound to be sitting around 4 hours or whatever waiting for some pointless event that goes on for an hour at the end of the day.
