I'd just like to point everyone over to DW and Fiona's story thread entitled "In Search Of Holy Spam", as the T&T has been deignated as the place for its discussion... Any thoughts?
My two cents:
IMO, for the rest of the story the protangonists should pass through staples of the SYM community: the SF, the Heathen Citadel... The Tunnels maybe?
Famous SYM groups like COMM, SLURR and, I guess, KIT NOCT could be in there...
I like this! Yay!

"Be thankful you're healthy."
"Be bitter you're not going to stay that way."
"Be glad you're even alive."
"Be furious you're going to die."
"Things could be much worse."
"They could be one hell of a lot better."

I'm glad you guys like it
Fiona and I have been collectively working on it for the last week or so, and we thought, especially in light of recent events, that it might be fun
@Tony,
all of those ideas sound awesome to me
@Chu,
great post!
Note:
If this story really takes off, we may want to create a separate discussion thread, but for now, this place will do fine.

I think it's a really cool idea, though my addition to the story was small it was great fun to type!
Glad you like the ideas DW, they seemed pretty elementary to me but you've got to start with something .

My reasoning is because everyone is going to adding to it overtime, it'll be one of those stories that weaves in and out of itself... My addition for example didn't have much of a clear purpose other than to introduce my character, but it ended on such a note that it can be picked up from later while people tell stories in between.

Wow! Fast responses!
*hands Luis an Iced Tea, and looks forward to his post*
*passes Rav the beverage of his choosing for inspiration*
Tony, I love you post
Basically yes,
I see the story as weaving in and out of itself.
IMO, there is no need for people to worry about the length of their posts, just write them as the moment strikes. In my experience with this sort of thing, a combination of spontaneity and a small amount of planning work best. But mostly, it should be spontaneous.

But, I warn you (reassure you?) I'm not in the mood to tie anyone up just now
