ToB -Amkethran (spoilers!)

Post by Moonmaid »

I was just wondering if anybody has any idea what to do in Amkethran? ( I've done the lich quest and been in the smuggler's cave) Do I need to get into the monastery and first of all do I need the chainmails and helms that Balthazar's mercenaries use?

As far as I can tell... and it sounds like we are about at the same point... you have to finish with Sendai and Abzigail (sp?) before taking on the Monks. I couldn't find any way into the Monks temple. THere is a door in the Lich cavern that is locked, and I am not sure who has the key. I think I read a post on here that the key is in the posession of someone in the Abzigail fight. Not sure on that though.
"Think on this, arrogant mageling: even the mightiest archmage has no spells strong enough to let him cheat death. Some take the road of lichdom... a living death. The rest of us find graves, and our dust is no grander than that of the next man. So when next you lord it over some farmer with your fireballs, remember: we all master spells enough to die"

nope, the key you get from talking to the bartender, who will direct you to a house and you get the key from them or you can go back to the smugglers cave and saemon haevarian will get you inside the gates. but you do need to go after sendai and abizigail before you can do this.
