Continuation in beginning and end

Two questions:
1. Is it possible to use your old character in a new game? In case it is possible please state how, please! (I believe it should be possible by utilizing a hex-editor but i dont have the competence required to do it).

2. At the end, the game states that you will be able to roam freely through the game at your wish, even if you did complete the game. Why cant i do so then?

sorry to say tht, no u cant continue on after u have completed the game. i dont know the reason, but this mite be something they will fix in the future.
also u cant start a new game with a used character.

Then it is as i feared. However, by utilizing a hex-editor, can you not transfer character-data from an old save to a new one and thereby preserving your first character's stats at least?

In version 1.4 you can. When you goto start a new game after completing a SP or MP game, you can choose to play the last mp or sp character you were using, plus it takes out all of the relics, keys, and letters so you don't have to hex them out... you start new with your current character.

By the way, it seems that i am unable to see any listings of available servers in mp mode. Would it be possible to perhaps point out any things that might have gone wrong?
