The Crocs come upon them in the middle of the night, quickly taking them while they are asleep. They had watchers, however none were watching the small creek that flowed in there. This first wave was followed by the Tawny Owls, who began pecking out the Watchers' eyes. And you wouldn't hurt a Tawny Owl, would you? ). With the watchers out of the way, the army can rush in.

Elves take "Brigadoon" option. Regroup. Destroy crocs with Komodo Dragons specially recruited for the purpose. Blind owls.

Watch the destruction from the top of the sacred mountain (where crocs really can't go)
