TOB XP and XP cap inclarity

Post by gladiool »

Hi

i know lots of questions have been asked on this and i have read other posts but something is not clear: I have installed SoA and the XP cap remover and ToB. I'm still playing SoA with a party at a bout level 13 or something, so they haven't hit the legal XP cap. What to do now? remove a file? Or is everything fine? Will i have no troubles? I would hate having come so far and then F*cking the game up?

thanx.

(the others post where all with people having lots of XP, more than legal in SoA)

Just delete the xcap remover file. If you do it before you hit the cap it will be ok.

Yep, you're prefectly fine; don't delete that, or else you'll go back to the 2,950,000 experience cap.

So ... ToB overrides any existing xp-cap overrides?

Is there xp cap remover for ToB or does the 'old one' work?

thanks!

thanx people.

so if i'm correct TOB puts it's own xpcap in place? So that it is raised to 8000 something?

so ToB does the same as the XP cap?

If you have the one that sets the cap to -1, it should still be good for ToB. From what I've heard, ToB overwrites your overrides, so make a backup before installing.

When you install ToB, it will install the xpcap.2da file, overriding if there is one already one there. If you want to remove the cap for ToB, just use the one you use for SoA.

-1 is for those who wants to remove the cap. Your file is perfectly fine for ToB, which sets the cap to 8000000.
