Warez did you get it?

Post by Skeelo »

I will admit I do...um lets use the word "borrow"...a lot of software. But not BG2, my game is 100% legit. It is definitely worth the money. As far as I'm concerned BG2 is the only software I've ever had that's worth paying for, cept maybe UT. I hate copying software you never get the manuals, and you always have a screwed up ripped copy with no sound. Anybody else agree that BG2 is definitely worth buying? Anyone using "borrowed" copies?

I should be purchasing ToB, that is if I have the money and don't know anyone else that has it!

I agree. But most games come with manuals on the CD (Case of BG II)
And not all copies are without sound.

I always get very concerned when I see the term warez.

Without paying for your software you are taking money away from the designers who give you such a great game, and can put the smaller software houses into great difficulty.

Those of you who are prepared to practice piracy put the software licensing prices up for the rest of us - it is a vicious circle.

1. In answer to your question, BG2 is definitely worth buying.

2. I have never "borrowed" any software.

I would respectfully point you to rule number 2 of the forum rules that details the risks of discussing illegal activities on this board, which include software privacy.

I bought my Collector's Edition off eBay for like 50 bux...pricey but well worth it.

Yshania this isn't a discussion about where to get warez or anything of the sort it is purely an informational discussion on the proper ethics of computer gaming.
