By the time I got to Urm I had run out of potions and I was using the fireplace in the main room a lot during the first battle (after the throne disappears). I didn't realize that when I use the fireplace that the prizes on the floor disappear for good. I am stuck in area 3 where Myrus Fathien is supposed to dwell and I am afraid he wandered into the main room during the initial battle and I killed him without knowing, but never got the key b/c it disappeared while I was using the fireplace to regenerate.
I don't see where I am able to restart from a previous save either.
At this point I can wander around the western part continuously killing, but I have no Fathien Keep Key to let me into another part of the castle to continue my quest. I am stagnant.
Sorry if this is a repost, but I tried to go through the forum to make sure it isn't, and I may have missed one if it is.
Stuck in Urm
There's probably a way to edit your saved game file to put the key in your inventory (similar to the sticky thread about the demon key), but this early in the game you might just want to start over.
