I just found out that with a seduction 3 (I was playing female), you can feed off the guard on the top floor of the Clinic before you do anything. I'm not sure just how far you can take that. I fed off him twice before I forced him to shoot at me and I killed him, but that's the first time in any character I've been able to seduce a male and feed off him. The obvious question being, can you do it elsewhere?
Oh, and BTW, you can Blood Strike the Plaguebearers with impunity.

SPOLIERS obviously:
You can seduce and feed off the guard for the Gallery Noir in Santa Monica if you want, and also the chemist/dealer in Surf's Up (provided you don't fight your way to him). Otherwise with male NPCs and a female character, seduction seems to be really only a variant form of persuasion. These three occasions are also the only ones I can think of where you have a scripted encounter in which you need to physically dispose of an obstacle to progress, rather than simply charming your way past them.
Incidentally, you could have simply fed off him until death. No humanity problems at all with that, and as you're in a combat area, it's a good idea, as there is no possibility of putting him in a trance (unfortunately).

Unfortunately, the Clinic is not a combat area until the guard attacks, but I never explored the option of feeding off a seduced Kine until they die. I expect that might be a problem in a nightclub, but on the top floor of the Clinic, with no witnesses...

Many places, at least early in the game, some you can feed from and some you can drain:
The snob waiting for a tow truck right outside you haven (snack)
A doctor (Phil?) in the clinic basement (snack)
That guard in the clinic you discovered (drain)
The surfer guarding the drugshouse (no feed)
The drugsdealer (drain)
And there are plenty of seduction options in dialogues replacing persuasion throughout the game.

But there's lots of seduction options in the game, you've missed a lot if you only found the npc's in the clubs. And a game is for fun, it's primary use, seduction is fun, so seduction is usefull

i always like seduction even though there is no real benefit to it. it just adds a bit of fun to the game, like malaksbane said. it adds a lot of extra dialogue options throughout the game and its not like there is a shortage of upgrade points so its not like you are missing out on much by having a few levels in it
