Graphics related problem

Post by fable »

I'm towards the beginning of a new game, having left the first dungeon, and just gotten my first random attack. Afterwards, I noticed that the screen did not reset properly. The two buttons controlling party AI and choosing all party members have moved off the screen, and the party At least one of the vertical buttons on the left had moved largely off the top of the screen, while several others had moved off the bottom right. The 6 party portraits on the vertical right are completely gone. The viewing area now stretches off the right side of the screen. I'm using a host of mods, but I seem to recall reading something about this happening in un-modded games years ago. Can't find it with search, however.

Anybody got any solutions to this? Thanks.

Well, that was quick. Checked out the Bioware BG2/SoA Tech forum, where I found a hint: another player suggested "H" for a problem relating to the screen moving upwards on someone else. I decided to check out key assignments using BG2 Config, and found that "U" controlled the right panel display. Hitting that button during gameplay restored what went missing.

Since I couldn't find this in our database, I'm leaving the thread visible but closed. :)
