I need help on a matter..

Post by sharky88 »

i tried searching the forums for information on this but to no avail, so i posted this..

on my characters (some) there is a red "-" symbol.
i know that this means their energy is drained, (it said) when i was fighting the undead.

the problem is, how do i remove it?
it has gone before, (since i had it before) but i don't know what i did to make it go away.

any help will be appreciated (apart from spam :) )

use a restoration scroll or go to a priest and get them to cast it on you (or have a cleric cast it if you have one in your party)

That should work, the best way to test it is to save before you drink the potion, then see if it gets rid of the effect. If it doesn't reload.
Is it a Lesser or Greater Restoration potion you have?

Either restoration potion will remove an energy drain. IIRC, the difference between the lesser and greater restoration spell/potion is that the "greater" version has some additional bells and whistles.

The Greater version may affect the whole party, rather than just the individual.

I believe greater does healing and other effects, but still is single.

Not sure though, I am basing this on BG2.
In memorian: Fiona; Ravager; Lestat; Phreddie; and all of those from the 1500 incident. Lest we forget.

I was thinking the same.
Of course, the spell version may affect whole party, but IIRC definately not the potion.

A curse?

Perhaps it is a curse. Some weapons will have temporary effects you could sleep off. Perhaps an enemy spell caster has cast some spell affecting your abilities. Have you tried Dispel Magic?
