LD = Lunar Distance = 384,401 km, distance between Earth and Moon. Equivalent to 238,328 miles.

I think it is 186,000 miles per second. Or at least that's what I seem to remember. It's an easy mistake to make. That speed isn't easy to take in

the "daddy long legs" (an annoying spider, i'm not sure if it's found in america, i know it's in england though) has the most potent venom known to man, but is unable to use it as it has not teeth or fangs
