Games Crashes! Plz help
I think the problem is that most of us simply don't have an answer for you. It may be that you don't mean certain requirements, or what have you. The best advice I can give you is to reinstall the game.
However, I'd encourage you to go to the official Activision VtM Bloodlines site. Surely, you'll find more detailed tech support help there. It's simply something that most of us players are not as familiar with in a more general forum.

Well...
First....how about giving people some time to reply to your problem ?
Second....while there are probably some really knowledgeable computer and game geeks here, not everyone knows what that error is about. I am no amateur but I have no clue what the problem is about. How about contacting the official game tech support....
My tips would be: Install the lastest sound and graphic drivers. Uninstall the game ( even the directories ) and make a clean reinstall, update to 1.2 and then try to play it again. If you have the same problem, contact the Game Support.

I have amd athlon 64 3000+ and geforce 6600gt with 1 GB ram. The game crashes everywhere, it's random. I've installed the patches and tried several ways to fix the problem but nothing helps. That's why I posted the error log, so someone who understands it could tell me what is the main reason the game crashes.

ILoveYou, if you genuinely want replies, you'll get nowhere here by getting upset when the answers don't drop into your hands at once. This is a good group, but believe it or not, we all have realworld jobs or school to take care of, too.
So allow some time for responses.
I'm moving this to the Tech Support forum, in the hopes somewhere with more expertise in this line can give you an answer. Since I've left a redirect in the Bloodlines forum, you'll also get responses from there.

To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

I have a simler problem my game would crash at random spots but all I had to do is restart it. However today I got to the part where I get Johannsen and I am get on the boat it loads and then just as it finishes it crashes to desktop. I have tried everything I know of and I know my computer is above and beyond the system requirements the only info that I have found on there site says to install the 1.2 patch and that did nothing to stop my problem. The problem is for some reason it spikes to where it is using 99% of my professor and NOTHING else but windows is running. Reinstalling has not helped at all and there site is basically useless. Someone I talked to in a chat room said they had the same problem and went so far as to buy a new game and the problem was fixed however when I talked to there tech people they said that there is nothing they can do. So I was hoping that if any of you had the same problem have found a solution that dose not entail buying a new game?
Check your Directx and video driverrs are comatible. Your video vender should be able to tell you the correct ones to use.
That is the first thing I did. I even tried it on my husbands computer witch has a video card that is a bit better and faster then mine. I have tried TWO diff video cards Nvidia and ATI and that did not fix it either. All my drivers are upto date and I have tried all the patches out there. It really pisses me off the a company would put out a product that is as crappy as this.

Well, you are more then welcome to produce games yourself which run on a combination of thousands of different components on thousands of different machines. It isn't quite as easy as you think because of the multitude of hardware, drivers, operatingsystems and other 3rd party software. And getting angry and irritated will not fix your problem either.
To find an errors you need to address the issue logical and systematically.
The error in question seems upfront to point to a memory problem, where it seems the machine try to read from restricted memory (likely reserved for the OS or something). Thusly my 2 first guesses would be either an overheating issue or a memory problem.
So I'd advice you to try and install your copy on somebody elses computer first, and see if it runs there. If it does - then your machine is the issue and these two guesses would be the first to check out. After that you can try out harddrives as it could be simply an installation issue as well - try to install it on a different (physical) drive and see if that fixes it.
Also check if you have other software runnign which might conflict, especially if you have some antivirus running with a feature which scans your harddrive continuely (Auto Protect in Norton for instance). Disableing excess software is also a tool for debugging.
If the game doesn't run on another machine, but crashes with a somewhat similar response then it is most likely the discs which are damaged somehow, and you should contact either the developers/distributors directly or the shop you bought the copies in.
