Technical Help/Spoiler Warning

I need some help getting into Naskell. Anytime I try and enter Naskell, I receive an error: "Internal Error: Program will terminate". This happens everytime. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling BG and TotSC but that did not help. I have owned BG for years which leads me to believe it may be the CD. I just wanted to play again followed by BG2 with the same PC. Has anyone ran into this before? I know that Minsc is in Naskell as well as the mayor to open up the mines and I"m not sure about anything else I need in this town. Is there anyway I can bypass this town (cheats and/or fixes welcome) to continue the game? Thanks in advance for any help.

I'm not sure if there is a cheat to skip chapters but there is one to create a NPC (i.e. Minsc). It is a console cheat so all the normal rules apply: CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("----"). Honestly, I'd just pick up a new copy of the game. You could probably find it online for about ten to fifteen dollars so it's not like it's a big purchase.

Try reinstalling with a full install. Move your save file first then put it back. That might do the trick.
