-20 dead?

Post by TRODTROD »

Sorry for all the new threads!

So i was fighting the Shadow Dragon, and somehow (in a hilarious moment) won with everyone dead apart from my lead with 6 points...

anyway, i started trying to resurect people, and i cast Raise Dead on Korgan... nothing happened. Then i used the wand of resurrection on him, nothing happened.

So after a while i decided to head back to the temple in Athkalla, tried raise dead/resurrection there - nothing happened.

When i hovered over his greyed out portrait, it says Korgan -20/128

btw - when i checked back, it said;

Shadow Dragan flame breath
Korgan 12 damage
Korgan Death
Korgan drained 4 levels
Korgan drained 2 levels

Any ideas?

I vaguely remember something like this happening to me a long time ago.
Is it possible to cast Restoration on Korgan first than try Raising/Resurrecting him?

Uh, try Greater restoration?

I'm really not sure though, I have a feeling that a person killed by level drain can't be resurected but it's strange you still have Korgan's portrait.

Try dropping the game difficulty to the lowest then trying to resurect him.

I think this may be in the database, and the solution recommended here is the only one that works. Restore first, using the portrait, then raise dead or resurrect. If it doesn't work, you may need to CLUA in a console command that resets his hit points and level.

i'll try that, but surely if that doesnt work i could just "give" him hit points using Shadowkeeper?

I don't know that giving him back points will necessarily remove the level drained condition. The latter might be causing your problem. In any case, what you're suggesting is worth a shot.

if you have the cluaconsole commands take Ctrl+R on him and he'l be ressurected i think but try greater ressurection/raise dead first beacause its kind of a cheat.
