The Ring Disappears!

I don't get it, I'm playing as a male character and I did the whole talk with aribeth and stuff and I got her ring. Now that I've finished up everything in Port Llast, I go to Luskan, but upon entering Luskan, It says I lose some items such as Yesgar's Key, Charwood Agent Journal, and ARIBETHS RING! I went to the Temply of Tyr figuring it might be in the divine pool but its not, I've saved right before going into Luskan and maybe theres something I missed out on? Does anyone know whats going on and/or how to keep the ring?? (p.s. I've tried equipping it)

Anyone? Anyone at all? Please guys I'm really stuck here and either this is a glitch or I missed something but it's really ruining the game for me. Help?

That is odd. I've never seen it happen and I've had Aribeth's Ring before.

Is your game fully patched? It's possible that it is a glitch fixed in the newer versions.
The latest patch version is v1.66.

That does in fact sound like a bug. I just loaded an old save and I kept that ring right through to the end of the OC. The ring does have a small but noticeable effect on the final stages of the main plot so if you want you can spawn it in using the console.
