SPOILER WARNING...HK Pacifist Package

Post by eskilla »

Can you actually use this? What does it do? I had it but couldn't figure out what to do with it before I finished the game. Has anyone managed to use this?

I seem to remember Geeda having one for sale once I had fixed the marketing situations on Dantooine and Onderon. Still need a droid chassis (or whatever it's called) for that scrap heap in the Ebon Hawk's storage compartment, so I haven't even tried installing it yet.

I believe you can only install it through conversation anyways, so no worries if it seems to have to use with an unfinsihed HK droid.

No chassis? I believe that may have been one of the parts you needed to scavenge off the droids, but I'm not sure... it may be in a conflict you have not arrived to yet.

I was thinking so, given the recent thread on the subject on Nar Shadaa of Bókabéus'.

"Spoiler"

When you have bought the pacifist package for HK, you can talk to him about it and install it, then he sudenly how should i say this becomes friendly, and hi starts talking about how he wants to save things instead of killling them or however it ends with you taking the package out of him, his conversations when you do this are hilarious, dont remember exactly what hi sais but its a blast :D

I've got one, and I've explored HK's whole conversation tree, but I cannot get anything to happen. Can anyone be more specific? Or perhaps one needs to pass an INF test with HK, in which case I haven't a hope, as the character who has it is seriously LS and has lost heaps of influence already...

i think it must be influence related, which kind of makes sense as he has to trust you to let you fiddle around with his programming etc. its a pain though as i have got it ls now, as ds i drove geeda out of town so couldn't get it, and ls characters typically will not get influence with hk-47 yet they are the ones that would be more likely to install a pacifist package. guess i'll have to do it as a ds again, get heaps of influence with him but not drive geeda off this time and see if i can get it to work then.

Talk to HK about his loss of effectiveness and then say you have an upgrade part for him. Then follow the conversation...

I have edited the title of this thread to reflect the fact that spoiler information is present. In the future, identify all posts containing spoiler information with an appropriate warning in the title, and any thread concerning requests for spoilers, etc, in the same manner. Thanks.

I see... So this "package". It should be installed if you are on the Light path, correct. Then HK will be all, nice and loving?

There is a post on page 4 of this board titled "Help With HK-47". Check it out, I believe it will answer all your questions.

Too bad the search tool will not search for 2 letter / digit items (like "HK")
