First off: I have beat Fable (original) twice and Fable TLC once (so far). I have, as of yet, not been able to get Skorm's Bow. I have read a large amount of info on how to get it, so I do know the ways, however...
My current character is purely evil (killed my sister, kept the Sword of Aeons, had the horns, red eyes, smoke from the feet and flies around the head for half the game, wearing Jack's mask, at least 12 dozen village massacres, the basic stuff ), have sacrificed at least 4 dozen people (up to 12 at a time), and have still gotten the response "Do try harder next time" response.
My question is: Is the only way to get Skorm's Bow when you are evil is to fulfill the 500-1000 evil point sacrifices (overall [ask 10 people, get 10 different answers, hence the range])? And, is the time of day that much of a factor (again; 10 people, 10 different answers)? Because I have tried at all times of the day with mercs and townsfolk (bring a group, keep trying at all hours).
P.S. Aside from getting The Sentius early, why would you get it? I currently have 3 weapons better than The Sentius; The Murren Greataxe, The Murren Greathammer, and The Bereaver (all of which are better than The Sword of Aeons!) (A lot easier to find Silver keys than pay for it). The only problem is that they're heavy weapons (slower swing no matter what your speed).
P.S. Getting annoyed because I have only been getting 1-2 evil points for sacrifices (even people that are in love with me).

Sword of Aeon's for Evil Players
Azura's Tear for Good Players
Anyway in Fable: TLC, there damage is lowered from 500 dmg to 200 *yuck*, so the best sword in the game is the The Bereaver 285 ATK, since it only comes with a Health Augmentation and 2 Free Slots.
There's a trick to getting Skorm's Bow "He likes Healthy donations" It took me forever to figure that out, yes villager's are best especially one's that have fallen in love with you, then taking them a luring them to there doom. But; it's alittle hard to do with a +100 scary metter, This is what I did, thought of the only place I new a healthy person, The Bandit Camp...there's a guy that you can higher he gave me +180 evil point's, Village's that are in love with you give about +210, it takes the guy some time to respawn about 3-4 days in fable then repeat the process over and over again.

Yeah but i would stick to the Solous Greatsword, 'cause it has an attack of 314! But sadly i'm an archer.

Skorms Bow
For Skorms Bow (or its Avo Opposite: Sentius), It helps to be the opposite of what the Chapel preaches.
As a purely evil character, it takes 32,000 gold for Sentius. For a Good Character, it takes over 100,000 gold.
For a good character it takes only one sacrifice (I prefer to use the body guard outside the Temple Avo cause I always seem to get the bow when I sacrifice him.) Usually, the best time is at midnight.
Ok, thats my mini guide.
WARNING: Results may vary.
Side effects may include: Diarriha, Bloody Nose, High Blood Pressure, Low Resale value on your home, broken bones, or all around bad stuff

Well, I don't know how helpful this will be since I'm not an expert (haven't even played long enough to beat TLC once). But I did follow the guide to get Skorm's bow, and time does have an impact. It didn't work out exactly like the guide says (midnight for neutral, 6pm/am for good/evil) but it does have an impact.
I took a new character, perfectly neutral and hired two bodyguards. Once at the temple I cast heal so they went back to 100% health. Then saved the game. I would sit around until it hit the time I wanted, then I would sacrifice. If it didn't work I would reload, wait, rinse and repeat. Doing this I found that for my char, 6pm didn't work, 6am didn't work, midnight didn't work. What finally got it was about 8pm or so I think. The other times I was trying to sacrifice both, wouldn't work. When I got the good timing, just the first guy got me the bow with about 200 points (not the 1000 some people say you need). So I sacrificed the 2nd guy just cause he bugged me.
Hope that helps at least a little.

i was purely evil on my char (only downfall was letting whisper live). i used that house thing to get 50k,paid 32k to the avo donation thingie, which got me half way up the good alignment. Hired the henchman by oakvale cemetary an the one by avos temple, took them both to skorms temple and sacrifice them, waited a few days till they both respawned and took them again(take them at midnight i dont know why but its better). i had the Sentinus and skorms bow in 30 mins
Okay, heres the deal.
For Skorms Bow, get either the mercenary at the Tample of Avo or in Twinblades camp(I got the one at Twinblades camp) and take them to the Chapel of Skorm. If you noticed, the Mercenaries take their pay every hour, but the trick is timing it right. Stand near that temple guy at night and watch your clock. When it looks like its going to be midnight soom, look down near the bottom right corner of the screen. As soon as he takes his pay, talk to the Chapel guy and he will sacrifice it and it will say "you will go far" or something like that. Then you will recieve skorms bow(i got it on my first try)
For the sentinus, its easier. If you're like me and like being purely good, make sure that if you were purely good you got skorms bow first to bring you closer to neutral. Then go to the Temple of Avo and donate around 60000-70000 gold and you will gain good points and the guy will say "the gods are pleased with your donation. very pleased" and you will get the sentinus.
Easy as pie.

That's not completely true, how the whole thing works is, if you go to your personality page, under statistics you'll see the bar that indicates how good or evil you are, each little bar on the sides indicate how many hours before or after midnight you must wait. If you are completely evil you will make your tribute at sundown if you are completely good you make your tribute at sunrise, using this method and a merc. from the temple of avo i got it on my first tryMightyBeldin wrote:For a good character it takes only one sacrifice (I prefer to use the body guard outside the Temple Avo cause I always seem to get the bow when I sacrifice him.)
