I need some help

ok im new to the forum so im not sure if this is the place to post this. im stuck on the arena quest, i cant beat the Rock Trolls, i dont seem to take any life off them and they just keep throwing stupid rocks at me!

@ the rock trolls!
Can anyone give me some hints or tips on how to beat these guys?

Ok, here's the best way to beat rock or earth trolls. Get in close and unload on them with a melee weapon. I know it sounds crazy but trolls are SLOW and you shouldn't be by the time you get to the arena. Here's the trick, using target lock, run in and hit the troll with a melee weapon, if you have slow time and/or muti strike cast it. A troll can't hit you with the thrown rocks when your right under its feet. When you see it start a jumping attack, dodge straight back twice, charge right back in as soon as the rock circle around the troll starts to fade and hit it again. Without the help of slow time, I usually get two standard hits and one flurish in between his jumping attacks. If your quick enough, and a little lucky, you can do it without taking a singe hit.
As far as the trolls in the arena go, don't stand in between to two trolls or the one your not attacking will still hit you with thrown rocks. Let Whisper go after one and you take the other. Get on one or the other side of it and unload on him. The other troll may still lob a few rocks at you but Whisper mainly keeps him busy. DO NOT get between the troll and the rails, you won't be able to get away from the jump attack. Once you've dealt with one troll, go get the other.
This method DOES NOT work on ice trolls.

In my opinion, I think I have a better way of killing trolls. It works for me, but I don't know if it will work for everyone. It should, though. Like Lonewolf said, the best way is to get in close...that's a given. But, try to get behind the troll. If you're behind it, it can't see you and will look around for you right before performing a jumping attack. When you see the troll start to look around, roll to the left or right and keep wailing on it. Then, the troll will know you moved and look around for you again. If you keep this up, the troll won't attack you. Instead, it will just keep looking for you around its feet.

The arena quest 2 troll will throw rocks at u at the same time...
here is wat u do..
1) go near to whisper, then make 1 of the troll 2 focus attacking whisper only
2) then go 2 the other troll, it`s best if u have assasin rush, just use it when the troll look at u. after using assasin rush u have time 2 hit twice wif heavy weopan, 4 time for light weopan.

p/s: it`s still easier if u level your toughness of ur hero

Hey thanks for all those tips! but to be honest.. he he he i got bored while waiting for a reply that i just went back to the game... unpaused it and just decided i would try just bashing them with these huge big hammer like thing.

so i past it YaY! lol

one more thing.... umm where can you get a shovel? i need one to dig for something

You can buy a shovel in most towns or find one outside the grave keeper's house in Lychfield graveyard.
I hope you read this before you got bored and figured it out yourself.
