FYI, we have links to Dungeon Lords patches in our downloads section. One of the patches should work even if you have that odd 1.2 version of the game.
Ok. Can you explain how I'm supposed to download 1.4?
The links to the German 1.4 patch and the fan-made English 1.4 patch are both listed in the first post in this thread, along with complete instructions for how to use them.

You mean binkw32.dll? Binkw32.dll is used by the Bink video player which is in alot of video games today to play the opening videos of games.
It's made by RAD Video Tools http://www.radgametools.com/bnkdown.htm.
They have their own video format which appears to be popular with video game creators.

It sounds like your icon is the game program itself. Did you somehow happen to move (or copy) the dlords.exe out of the Dungeon Lords folder?
If so, you need to put it back. If not, double click on the dlords.exe in your Dungeon Lords folder and see if it starts. If it does, then exit Dungeon Lords and then right-click dlords.exe and click send-to, then desktop (create shortcut). Then you should have a working Dungeon Lords icon.
If not, then I recommend deleting any Dungeon Lords icons on your desktop and re-installing Dungeon Lords, then re-patching.

Now it tells me an error occured when I try to enter. Does this have anything to do with having an icon for both 1.2 and 1.3?
Also, under my Dungeon Lords folder, there is one called "Dungeon Lords version 1.3 patch" Should I move everything in there to into Dungeon Lords?

YES! 1.3 WORKS!! Ok, new problem: When I click on Mirror 3 at the link for 1.4 german, should I save it and where or open it? Whenever I save it somewhere I can't open or extract it because the computer says it's corrupted or invalid.

Download the German 1.4 final from here.
I don't know where you are trying to download it from, but I know the above isn't corrupted and it is the German 1.4 that I used.

With that many errors, I would uninstall DL. Goto C:\Program Files\Dreamcatcher and DELETE the Dungeon Lords folder if it's still there.
Then re-install from scratch. Patch to 1.3, then German 1.4, then re-download the 1.41 mod an re-install it... unless you've gotten it to work already.
Unless of course you didn't install the mod after installing the German patch.

To uninstall a program from Windows you would goto Start, Settings, Control Panel, then Add/Remove Programs... in this case you would look for Dungeon Lords on the list and click it once to highlight it, then click Remove.
If this step was skipped, try browsing the Dungeon Lords CD and double click on setup.exe to see if it will install.
