possible bug???

I am in Wyrm's tooth and I have cleared out the frost giants cavern. Every time I try to enter the frost salamanders home if I tell the guards that I am going to leave it boots me out the door. If I say that I want to see Kerish the game freezes and then crashes. Does anyone know if this is a bug or if I am doing something wrong????
