Wowzers!

Post by Gruntboy »

I finally finished HoW and TotLM last week.

Pretty awesome overall. I especially enjoyed the fight with Icasaracht and that whole story.

Just gotta wait for IWD II now and hope they instigate kits. Man, I'll be planning my party for weeks

Hmm, maybe I should go back to IWD and try more combo's.... :D

Hmm, I am currently playing HOW/TOTL with a party consisting of: Paladin, Gnome Fighter/Illusionist, Gnome Cleric/Illusionist, Elven Fighter/Druid, Half Elven Fighter/Mage/Thief, and a Conjurer, on the hardest difficulty level.

So far, just got to Lower Dorn's Deep. Partie's average level is 12. Gotta love this game =).

BTW: Good news for any scriptors out there, I have found a way to add alot of the bg2 actions/triggers/objects, and even to create new ones, into HOW/TOTL, so it is now possible to write complex AI scripts for HOW/TOTL (characters and Enemies). Email me if interested.

Just finished, now I'm just playing for blood. I'm restarting over again.

Did you say IWD II, Grunty don't tease me like that. ;)

Very cool game! I am just finishing for the 2nd time, but this time I did the whole game (IWD, HoW, TotL) as a MP game with friends. Very different with all the interractive strategy, but we had a fighter heavy party, so we could take a lot of punishment for foolish moves if needed. Human Ftr, Dw Ftr, Elf Ranger, Human Ftr dualled to Cleric, Halfling F/T, and Human Conjurer. Very fighter heavy! I felt like Grunt! ;) :D

I find IWD quite difficult. In fact, I have never been able to finish it

First time through I got a hideous beating by Belhifet : Omar - Belhifet : 0 - 3 :(
My party was too weak :D
Second time through my party was strong but my harddisk crashed while in Lower Dorn's Deep  Lost all saved games...

I don't have the expansions, couldn't find HOW anywhere here, except in a combo with BGII, which I already had !!! Grrr...
