How does rep work in IWD? It is not on the char record. and I only get a message saying rep was lost when I kill the elf for his magic swaord in the inn @ easthaven. Whats up doe s rep play a part? :mad:

Reputation affects your prices in the stores. There are a couple things in the game that can lower it. Killing innocents is one way, doing things that make you look evil in the eyes of others is another. I know of at least one quest in IWD/HOW where you will lose REP if you complete it an evil way, and undoubtably there's other quests like that.

Yep, KR is right. However, reputation, like Quest XP gains, is "invisible". You don't know what your reputation score is, you just know it goes up or down.

Unlike Quest XP there is no option to turn up the feedback (it is possible to see Quest XP gains if you fiddle around).
