Well, a close friend or relative of the expectant mothers send out invitations to selected guests...and we give gifts to the mom to be....items for the nursery, baby clothes etc. Generally, the baby shower is usually held on a Sunday afternoon, and a brunch or light lunch is served...so, having it as a friday night cocktail party is just a bit out of the norm...:laugh:

HaaHaa...No, not a bit....it is refreshing to see. ya know? We are pretty close to the same age...and its cool to know that it can be done that way
