Not long enough :p . Well, I've been on holidays for about 8 weeks :D .
Wow. I never got breaks that long while I was at school. The maximum I got was 6 weeks.
Though, of course, I have a 5 month between academic years (May-Sept/Oct). I was so bored a few months into that last year. :o
For the Chest one? I waited then because I needed to ask you, but I kept forgetting.
Ahh. Well, it's probably easier to post the question on the thread I mentioned rather than waiting for a time when we arre both are (no matter how often that happens :p ).
No, you post enough info, just that this is my first time in getting down and dirty with the rules, so I just want to be sure rather than making a big mistake.
*nods* Fair enough. I just thought I'd take the opportunity to put in something more intellectual, I was originally going to go for a riddle and getting darkwolf to solve it (knowing how good you are at riddles  :D ).
Trust me, you've done a great job at being DM, I tip my hat to you . ;)
Thank you. :)
I'm going to be co-DMing a campaign on HoL relatively soon. I hope I haven't bitten off more than I can chew there, I'll have less time to improvise. :( :p

I haven't either, though in Australia, private schools usually break up a couple of weeks earlier, I don't know why. As a result, I get a couple more weeks holidays. But 5 months, that's HUGE!
Ahh. Well, it's probably easier to post the question on the thread I mentioned rather than waiting for a time when we arre both are (no matter how often that happens :p ).
Yeah, you're probably right, but I normally spam with you once a day, so I just ask then... plus I can ask follow up questions then too.

Hahaha, well if you want that to happen, then by all means say I can't solve it, and I'll put myself out of action.
Thank you. :)

You'll do great, at least you won't have people like me asking you.
But 5 months, that's HUGE!
Believe me, I know! :p
There are two 13 week terms (before and after Christmas), coursework and around Easter there's exams too. Once all that's over, so is the academic year.
Hahaha, well if you want that to happen, then by all means say I can't solve it, and I'll put myself out of action.
Oh, if I had settled on some conventional riddle then I would have, though I would prefer not to exclude anyone. Of course, I'd come up with a good in-story way of knocking you out of something like that, say, a chest that doesn't accept sorcerers pressing the panels... :p
You'll do great, at least you won't have people like me asking you.
Thanks.
I have no problem with 'people like you' asking me questions, you know. :p
It helps me to spot any problems and keeps me alert.
And the new campaign is open to everyone....

Well I guess you earn your holidays... which is probably just a time where work decides to roster you on more shifts :p .

No, I don't mind at all, and I'd prefer it that way, so the challenge can really exist. Just have a wall come between us, with a keyhole, and the key is in a chest, which is solved by a riddle... and we can't talk to each other to help. ;)
Thanks.

Yeah, but it's a lot more fluid, and easier on you, if everyone knows everything. Well good luck with it, and I'm sure most people that sign up will be well aware of the rules.

Problems? You make problems? Between editing replys, and improvising the game to suit, I never knew :D .

@Sol, don't worry, I did the same thing last night, he doesn't mind (though he will get revenge eventually :p ).

Morn-wait, Afternoon Sol. :)

@Kitten, it's fine. :)
I just looked up the location of Mercury's house. It seems to be in the middle of London, quite close to Kensington, certainly a rich area.

@DJV, well, I'd prefer the 5 months to be reduced and the other holidays we get increased from 2 weeks or so each, perhaps. ;)
And I don't have a job at the moment, considering the lack of flexibility on the University's part last (we had to attend every day) and they couldn't care less whether there were any other obligations "You don't attend every day, you FAIL!". That's pretty much what was said. :p

Aww. I hope I don't make things too complex with my reply edits. :( ;)
@Sol, don't worry, I did the same thing last night, he doesn't mind (though he will get revenge eventually )
Aye, I plot my revenge! *evil laugh* ;)

That's harsh, here you do about 5 subjects MAX a semester (I think the minimum is 3), and in that time, you can normally arrange lectures to be on the same day, so you limit yourself to 2 or 3 days of Uni, the rest is your time, to do what you want.

And yeah, they have similar holidays here. A 2 week break, and then a 4 month holiday (or something along those lines), it's really quite stupid.

No, but it means the next person edits, then the person after that has to edit, then it's back to you, and you're editing... an endless circles of edits, just because of one little thing :p .

SEE! YOU JUST EDITED THAT THEN!

Now I'm editing, and Sol will probably have posted by the time I'm done, so then she'll have to edit. Can't you spare her the trouble. Rav, you are an evil man :p .

Well, last week was a special case, where we had to attend as part of our course. They only have the lectures once a week, as far as I know, I only have to go up there 3 days a week this academic year.
SEE! YOU JUST EDITED THAT THEN!
Yeah, because you added that bit to Kitten after I saw your post! :D

Aye, and proud of it! ;)

@Kitten, I even found a satellite map, it can show the houses or the map and can be zoomed in or out. :D

And I've been plotting ever since I joined GB. ;)

Oh, and Rav, I just remembered. More details have come out about the guy who escaped the jail. It turns out he was even more lazy. He realised he needed a disguise, but didn't want to work hard, so instead, he grabbed a black felt pen, and scrippled on a beard and a moustache. Now, if that wasn't dumb enough, the guy had... BLONDE HAIR! So here was a guy with blond hair and a scribbled on black beard and moustache... is it any wonder he was caught.

@Rav, now I edited after I saw you edit, by that point I hadn't seen Sol's post. After I hit refresh I saw the post, and realised it must have already been there.

Oh, well then that's okay, because it would just be stupid having that much Uni.

@Sol, Rav has a fetish about editing posts :p , so I'm teasing him, join in, it's fun!

I edit my posts a lot apparently. ;)

I wouldn't want you getting lost in London after you win the Lottery. :p

@DJV, LOL! Obviously he wasn't the sharpest tool in the box. :D
And I just noticed your 'location'. Nice!!

Yep. Though the train problems seemed incredibly well-timed

You're so thoughtful, Rav :D . I looked up his house, apparently his had a massive garden, and there's a bunch of graffiti on his property walls.

@Rav, well, I think most of it is stuff like, "Freddie we love you!" and "Freddie, you changed my life," and, "Only the good die young -- we'll never forget you!" It shows close ups of some of it, that's what it says. :)

@DJV, yup, it's right in that drawer in Konigintopia. :D
