Slave help

Post by Dark_13lade »

First, I have the GOY xbox version, second , my problem, i want to buy slaves, i found the place to buy then, in Tel Aruhn, i bought one, all the guy had was household slaves, so i bought one, well, i got him out of the slave pit, and i got him outside, but i cant command him at all, i cant give him eq or anything, so all he does is follow me around , i supose its because you have to buy a "speacial slave" , my questions are, am i just missing something? and , if household slaves cant be given items, then does speacail have the ability to carry them and wear eq? and when does he get speacial slaves, he is currently out of stock, do i have to get so far in the game before i can get speacial slaves , or do they come and go , right now im level 16 and i have gotten to the part were i have to go rescue mihlo from the rock floating above the temple in vivec, please help me , lol i have no idea whats up , ive owned a pack rat before , and know how to eq it , but i just dont see how to do it to a slave............

Spoiler
You will need to purchase "something special" when you are further along in the main quest...

It's the same place. However, there are slaves you could buy on regular basis - a Breton, an Altmer, an Imperial, a Khajiit, a Bosmer, i believe, and i cannot remember if an Aragonian, too.(It was long since, i just do not remember all details) They were to be released without any conditions (they weren't supposed to be wives or anything - neither for Redoran nor Main quest, do not know if for any other House).
You cannot command those regular slaves, and they will do nothing for you (if only fight on your side on occasion as any companion do, but, since you cannot arm them, it's rather senseless).

Well that sucks, i only wanted them for fighters and items carriers, is there any way to get slaves that can fight, carry items ,and follow orders? Besides of course pack rats and what not, because they cant leave mournhold. Of course thank you for the information given, both of you.

If you are on Xbox and have the expansions, your only option is to recruit the Henchman in Mournhold. However, there are certain conditions attached to his staying with you, I think it relates to the value of loot being carried.

If you take items from his invent and only leave stuff fore a lesser value then when you hired him he will get pissed, since i never used him I don't know what he will do if you take to much of his stuff. But be aware on the fact that he will freely use potions and stuff if you put it in his invent
I got Morrowind on Xbox.

The slaves help you rake up the freed-slaves count, which increases your reputation and lets you start doing the Twin-Lamps quest.
