HoW discontinued?

Yesterday, I went shopping looking for Heart of Winter, but couldn't find it anywhere. When I asked at CompUSA, the guy checked the inventory list on the computer and found that it was out of stock and he showed me that it was listed as discontinued. Anyone know anything about this?

Dunno, I found copies everywhere the other day, one on sale for $4.99. Maybe I should go back and get it. I had trouble finding Icewind Dale though, had to try 3 stores. First time playing IWD, just started, so for those of you who dont know me from Baldur's Gate forums, hi.

Sometimes shops only have IWD/HoW combo packs - having sold out of HoW.

Try smaller shops, look online - the sorts of places that may not have sold out and might not hae the most up to date stock.

I suppose the big stores figure anyone who's got IWD will have bought HoW separately a while ago.

Better yet. Buy it from Chips and Bits, with the link at the bottom of the page. IIRC, Buck gets some profit from it.
