Installation problems

After trying to install SoA and ToB Ive been successful in only installing SoA. Heres how I did it, There would be some weird error, so I went to add program under add/remove programs in the control panel. Added SoA as mentioned above. When I try to install ToB (the launch screen for ToB says install, movie, readme, exit) I click install and it says do you want to remove ToB. I click yes and in an instant it says it was uninstalled successfully and that it will try to remove SoA. It encounters an error and it closes the window. Even though it says ToB was uninstalled successfully, I still cant install it and the whole little goose chase of "uninstalling" ToB occurs again.

I have tried removing ToB manually but it says the same thing. I have also tried to uninstall it with the same results. I would like to know if there was anything I can do as I want the bonuses added on by ToB since I want to solo again through the game.
