Grandmaster writs (SPOILER)

Post by One man army »

I have done all the writs fore morag tong and all the webspinner threads and is now grandmaster. I messed up the one writh here you ar suposed to kill the comona tong assasins in dren plantaition sence I had done that earlier. I have the official stratigy guide and it says that you get grandmaster writs if you have done all the normal wriths, it also says somthing about "recent events" but I cant get that topic.
I got Morrowind on Xbox.

It's bugged. Read more about them at the bottom part of the page here. You can kill the people first then collect the rewards. However I advise against carrying out these writs, especially if you haven't done the main quest and the 2 Varro sidequests. I also have a personal liking for the characters you have to kill with the exception of Therana...

Always thought that
  • death of Dagoth Ur was what triggered GM Writ availability;
  • at least one of them wasn't available if you had been done with one certain not-GM Writ;
Was i wrong?

No, at least not on the first one, I had forgot that (never bothered to do GM writs myself).

I have done the main quest but it still doesn't work. :confused: I'm on Xbox so I can´t use the cheats.
Is there a good idea to do the grandmaster writs according to you?
I got Morrowind on Xbox.
