Sword of Aeons/Avo's Tear

Post by Dragonbladez »

Okay, one thing that REALLY pisses me off is the power level of the two rivaling swords; Aeons and Avo's Tear. Everyone remembers when Aeons was at 540 damage and could deal 1000 damage with the addition of your mastered strength values. Well, since they made a weapon that rivaled the Sword of Aeons, why would they reduce the power of Aeons to 230? Wouldn't it have been a better idea to increase the power of Avo's Tear instead of decreasing the power of Aeons? Gimme an AMEN if you agree!

Yeah, exactely. Now I have to hit a Rock Giant 2 times to let him sleep. That pisses me off -.-

[/sarcasm]

Have you seen ONE Enemy that hast more than 1000 Hitpoints? I haven't. (Bossfights don't count)

The thing you're just whining about is called "Balancing". That big toothpick was way to strong. And hooray even thats the point YOU don't agree with the rest of the (fable-) world.

Get yourself some cookies and whine.

OK before TLC, the Sword of Aeons was like a bonus for finishing the game. With it, you could keep playing the game as an almost godlike character. Being that powerful in the extra missions at the end of TLC would have made it way too easy.
When all else fails, try brute force.
