Bad Glicth :(

Post by bgplayer »

this glitch just started recnetly.

for some reason when my party is hurt pretty bad It says I would sleep for an incorrect amount of days... IE:

slept for 21 days 8 hours, 24 days, 36, days, or even 46 days?

what glitch is this? can this be fixed? even if I do sleep for any number of days... does it matter how long it takes? like is there a certain thing that you can't do if a number of days go by? thanks.

Occasionly there are time restraints on a quest, but you'll get told if that happens.
Mainly it's when some messenger comes to fetch you or in Chapter 5 (in Shadows of Amn).

As for that number of days thing, I don't think it matters how injured your characters are by a percentage rather than many hitpoints they are down by. The more HP they have to heal the longer it takes to heal.

Inn?

I believe staying at a nicer room at the inn will heal you faster, but I'm not sure. Normally, you regenerate at 1hp/day.

BTW, there are some regeneration items which could help you. I can think of a couple of rings offhand, and a crappy ioun stone. You'll be swapping them from person to person, but it beats throwing all that time away.

or, if you have loads of money to spare, it only costs a few hundred gold to go to a cleric in a temple (if you are near one of course or its a bit extreme) and get them to heal you up. then resting would just take the normal 8 hours.
