Who can carry shields???

My fighter can't, my ranger can't, my cleric can... does anybody know the patern???

My fighter can, my ranger can and my cleric. Are you sure you do not have a bow in one of ur equip slots?

Thieves - Bucklers only
Mages - no
Bard - no (but lyre of progression goes in shield slot and 'behaves' like a shield i.e. no 2-handed weaps)
Cleric - yes
Figher (all types)- yes

So a fighter/mage can use, a fighter/thief can use and a mage/thief only bucklers.

Oh yeah, and you can't equip a shield if you have a 2-handed weap in a quick weap slot and vice-versa.

Watch out, some shields & items are alignment/race specific.

Yup, I think its the red Horsemen shield or something like that. It is pretty hard to get to use. Something like not usable by Chotic chracters. Im not 100% about that one tho.
