my sorcerer hasnt been able to memorize and spells since the start of my game and after leveling up 3 times, it hasnt changed. i did a quick search here and found that his ability to cast spells is related to his charisma.. which somehow i totally overlooked.. and his CH is only 10. is there anythign i can do? is there a cheat where i can up his CH or anything else???
thanks.
sorcerer cant memorize spells!
Or, if you don't have DK2, you can make the fix within IWD2, in a bit of a roundabout way.
First, move all of your sorcs items to another character and write down the number of XP that your sorc has at the moment. Then delete the sorc using the party formation screen. Then add in a new sorc with the correct stats. Return to the game, and use the cheat console to set your new/old sorc'd XP to the old XP total. After getting all of your old sorc's equipment back, you'll be ready to go.

Go and get yourself the Dungeons & Dragons Player's Handbook 3rd edition. It's only twenty bucks roughly. It will give you a detailed description of everything you need to know on how to make efficient charcters. The handbook is helpful but not everything is there.

Fifteen birds in five firtrees,
Their feathers were fanned in a fiery breeze!
But, funny little birds, they had no wings!
O what shall we do with the funny little things?
