What is the Best weapon for a Paladin (Magical) and armor
Where can I pick up a Diamond (in Chapter 3)
Best weapon / Armor for a Paladin
what are your weapon proficiencies, stats etc.? as weapons depend on these, it would be easier to make a suggestion if we knew them. as for armour, its personal preference more than anything. there are a lot of very good suits of heavy armour in the game that offer a lot of protection for a paladin. i'm assuming, as a paladin, you have low dex, in which case wear the heavy armour you can find that gives the highest ac bonus. my personal faves are the dragon armours. if you have a look at the nwn main page on gamebanshee you can have a look at all the different items in the game, with descriptions. this would probably help you decide.
as for diamonds, i usually carry one over from chapter 1 as i usually get 2 in the chapter, but i think Xandax is right and there is one on the ice dragon in the shadow globe. not sure, cos again like xandax, its been a long time since i played.

Holy Avenger swords are good, if you can find one... (+divine damage). I think there's one somewhere in chapter two, I forget where though. Some dungeon...
EDIT: I do recall, that I've only come across it when playing a paladin. I vaguely remember it being some blocked off passage way, which suddenly opened when a "righteous" person walked near it.

Yup, makes sense.
Oh, what armor. There are many good heavy armors, but I personally like the Chainmail of Speed. It's a bit lighter (medium), still offers relatively good AC (5+2), but what really makes it rule, HASTE. Increases AC a couple of notches more, you walk around lot faster and get extra attacks.
(naturally if you have haste from something else, it isn't much use).

Yes, there is a section in one of (*Spoiler* highlight to reveal) the three areas in the desert (when you're trying to get the water back). The way is blocked by various fires which do HUGE amounts of damage to wizardy types. However, my Fire Mage was able to Spot the secret door, as she has three levels of Paladin (none of my other characters were able to see it even though they were fairly good, so maybe it does depend on you being a Paladin). However, she was in no way strong enough to beat the bad guy, so she couldn't take advantage of it, and eventually I had to dash across the fire several times until I survived.

"And she'll be facing......VODKA! Over to John Anderson."

Wasn't that in SoU? cuz I think the OP is playing chapter 3 of the OC.
I'm pretty sure the best armor for a paladin in the OC is the Red Dragon Armor but I dont remember if it's a fixed chest item or where I found it (it wasn't until near the end of chap3 I know that). It has a total AC of 13 and fire resistance, making it very powerful. It also matches with the Red Dragon Disciple's red dragon wings nicely too
