The Ugliest Monster Awards

Post by dragon wench »

I was poking around a tomb in stealth mode this evening, and, not for the first time, I was struck by just how incredibly ugly Bonewalkers are...
I mean, these things win grand prize for sheer grotesque appearance, IMO :D

So, what do you think is the ugliest beastie in the game (expansions included)? :p

I did the similar thing (was looking for Chrysamere).
Then, a wizard (necromancer?) summoned a great bonewalker right in front of me! Grrrr!

That's difficult question....
Bonewalkers, some of corprus stalkers, alit, hunger, kwamas...
Gosh, I am so lucky not living in Morrowind!

Ugly are those slim copprus stalkers and those creatures that destroy armor or weapons, with a tongue, I cant recall the name... Also, the daedra are ugly as hell, that amor is very detailed but damn, they're ugly.

I have to vote for Hungers as well. Out of all the creatures in Morrowind they are the only ones that truly unnerve me.

Hungers, without question. Ugly, and with poor social skills, too.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

I am still between Ogrim and Hunger.

I dislike Ogrims because they are unbelieveably fat and thus very slow. But the hunger is like some old hag with a broken spine.Uuhh..it gives me Shiwers as i think about it.

I quess i will go with Hunger.

I had forgotten about Hungers but yes, I think they are a definite strong candidate for the Morrowind Ugliest Monster Award. I hate fighting them as well, and I always try to do so at a distance with my bow.

Somebody mentioned Ogrims. I have to say, I actually find them kind of "cute," in a weird sort of way. I'm not quite sure why :D

EDIT
lol@ Rookie :D

Ogrims are rather nice, in fact, with their body piercing and bouncing way to walk :D

Fools seldom differ I see :D
Chubbyness = Cuteness, that's what I think. With the exception of the deformed chubby corprus stalker, I like all chubby things.

The stance of the Hunger and the way it moves reminds me somewhat of the xenomorphs of the Alien series. I'm just glad that Morrowind doesn't feature face-hugger equivelents.

Well, I don't know if it really counts, but I thought that the Uderfrykte was pretty ugly, I mean, it looks like some kinda mutant ape with three arrows in its back and it was always carrying a severed Nord leg (best. weapon. ever.). Other than that, I would have to say Katougis. I always thought they looked alright at first, but one time when I was walking by a body of one I realized just how ugly they are. I liked them better when I thought they didn't have any eyes (you can only see them from the side)

I've always felt Deadroths were quite ugly and sometime i find that cleannfears look pretty ugly, really close up, with their little beaks.
And lo ye must learn of the great war that raged fo a couple of posts and brought the citadel momentaraly to its knees
